During the beta period, we may collect:

• Uploaded media: video clips, audio files, and images you upload for editing.
• Usage data: timeline edits, AI generation instructions, render jobs, and feature usage.
• Device information: browser type, operating system, and general location (country/region).
• Local storage: theme preference and editor state are stored in your browser's localStorage.

2. Uploaded media

Video clips, audio files, and images you upload are processed solely for the purpose of rendering and editing within Auraframe. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models, sell to third parties, or distribute in any way. During the beta, media may be stored temporarily for rendering purposes and deleted after your session or render completes.

3. How we use data

We use collected data to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Auraframe service.
• Process render jobs and AI generation requests.
• Respond to support requests and communications.
• Send product updates and notifications (you can opt out at any time).
• Analyse product usage to improve features and reliability.

4. Cookies and local storage

Auraframe uses browser localStorage to store your theme preference (dark/light mode) and editor state. We may use session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics (if implemented) will use privacy-respecting, cookie-free tools.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (cloud infrastructure, rendering, authentication) strictly for the purpose of operating Auraframe. Any third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements consistent with this policy.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Uploaded media is retained for the duration needed to complete rendering and is not permanently stored beyond that without your explicit action.

7. Analytics

Auraframe may use basic analytics to understand usage patterns. We do not share individual user data with analytics providers. During the beta, analytics may be minimal or disabled entirely.

8. Your rights

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No security system is perfect — if you believe you have found a security issue, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Auraframe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
